I used Elm to build a LaTeX to HTML parser-renderer and two apps that host it: https://jxxcarlson.github.io/app/miniLatexLive/index.html and https://knode.io. I don’t think it would have been possible to do so in another language. The project has gone through _many major_ refactorings. No big deal, no sweat!
